November: New Month, New Mi!

New Month, New Mi: November

This month, we've got the new Mi Air Purifier Pro, the highly anticipated Redmi Note 8 Pro and a new home security camera!

Mi Air Purifier Pro

Let's get started with the awesome new Mi Air Purifier Pro! It features an OLED display and laser particle sensor that shows the current temperature, humidity, Wi-Fi connectivity, and operation mode. It also shows the current PM2.5 value in the air which changes the colour of the LED ring around the OLED display based on the indoor PM2.5 concentration level (green, yellow, red). With its new aerodynamic pressure system, it has a CADR rating of 500 meters squared per hour and can purify areas up to 60 square meters.

With Summer being just around the corner in New Zealand, the Mi Air Purifier Pro will make an excellent addition to your home, especially if you suffer from hayfever and other allergies. It's equipped with an ultra-dense filter that removes contaminated ultra-fine particles including pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mould, bacteria, etc. The indicator shows the remaining filter lifespan in percentage so you'll always know when it's time to change it.

Like most Xiaomi products, you can connect the device to the Mi Home app to monitor the operation mode in real-time (indoor air conditions, temperature, humidity, etc.). You can also turn it on and off from anywhere, so you can always come home to a clean, fresh home, every time!

Redmi Note 8 Pro

The Redmi Note 8 Pro has been highly sought-after by Mi fans, and for good reason! It offers superior photos and gaming experience with a 64MP AI quad-camera + 20MP front camera, and MediaTek's latest flagship Helio G90T gaming processor with LiquidCool technology and an internal heat pipe to redirect internal heat outside of the phone.

Let's get into the Note 8 Pro's main selling point - the cameras! The Note 8 Pro is the first device from Xiaomi to have a 64MP camera which is accompanied by 3 more sensors - an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor for portraits and another 2MP sensor for close-ups. It also supports 4K recording at 30fps and its 20MP AI front camera supports 1080p recording at 30fps.

If you're not convinced yet, the Note 8 Pro is also equipped with an impressive 4,500mAh battery that lasts from 8 to 10 hours of screen-on time. So if you're looking for a feature-packed, affordable smartphone made for gaming with an incredible camera set up and long-lasting battery, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is available now for just $499 at Mi Store - head in-store for a hands-on demo or check it out online!

Mi Home Smart IP Camera

Last but not least, the Mi Home Smart IP Camera is the latest home security camera at Mi Store and retails for just $69 OR save $20 from Thursday 7th - Monday 11th November during our Birthday Sale!

The Smart IP Camera features 1080p full HD resolution at 20fps, 130° ultra-wide-angle lens, infrared night vision range up to 10m, intelligent detection, and two-way voice communication with an omnidirectional noise-cancelling mic. Whether you're wanting to set up the camera in a room with low light, high brightness or high exposure, the Smart IP Camera captures clear detail and quality image, thanks to its WDR and BSI (back-illuminated sensor).

If you have a common Android smartphone, the Smart IP Camera's Picture-in-Picture feature gives you the option to multitask and monitor your kids while you're on other apps. And if you have multiple areas in your home that you want to monitor, you can install multiple cameras and view them all simultaneously on the Mi Home app. Its microSD cards and Cloud NAS support means you can store videos locally so you can go back to any footage, as well as enhancing security.
